Its springtime and with only 3 months to summer now is the time to start thinking about where you want your health to be over summer.  What a better time to start implementing the Hungry for Change 10 Step Action Plan!

Here’s a summary:

1     Add fresh squeezed vegetable juices to your day – the nutrients absorb quickly into your bloodstream.  I like celery, carrot, beetroot, lemon and ginger.

2     Detox your body with green vegetables and gelatinous plant foods – if you’re using chia seeds make sure you soak them so they become gelatinous and are easily absorbed and digested.

3     Add parsley and cilantro to your diet – parsley cleanses your whole system and cilantro (coriander) binds to heavy metals and rids them from your body.

4     Add cultured foods to your diet – yoghurt, kefir, sauerkraut, kombucha – these all encourage good bacteria in your gut to help digestion.

5     Eat yourself beautiful – eat fresh, seasonal fruit and veges, get a good dose of healthy fats like coconut oil, avocado and oily fish, nuts and seeds, have good quality protein and limit processed foods and see what happens to your skin.

6     Dissolve stress in your daily life – sleep well, use relaxation techniques like yoga, tai chi or meditation and exercise!

7     Use visualisation – a wise man said what you think, you become.

8     Transform your life with love – as Dr Christiane Northrup says, the key to it all is loving yourself.

9     Add healthy fats or your diet –  healthy fats are natural fats – coconut oil, avocado, nuts and seeds, oily fish and olive oil

10   Avoid aspartame, MSG,High Fructose Corn Syrup and heavily processes diet and fat-free foods – seriously.  These are the worst ever.
