Struggling to Unwind?

What does it mean to you to ‘switch off’?
Stopping work, sitting down and zoning out? Sometimes that helps.
But if our body and brain have been “on” all day, stopping isn’t always enough to shift it.
We can be sitting still and still feel wired. Our body and nervous system doesn’t just respond to rest, it responds to signals.
And movement is one of the clearest signals.
Slow, controlled, low-effort movement, the kind where you can feel your breath and move joints without strain or rushing tells our body that it’s safe to come down a gear.
It can help to settle our heart rate settles, decrease muscle tension and slow down breathing rate.
And a short, well-placed movement session can sometimes leave us feeling more relaxed than doing nothing at all.
If your days feel full-on and it’s hard to switch off at the end of them, this is something worth exploring.
I’ve got a short Morning Reset that can work equally well to help you wind down at the end of the day.
It’s simple, low effort, and designed to help your body shift gears.
