Strength isn’t Always the Answer

You might know this feeling.  You’ve built strength, train regularly and you can lift, push, carry, and hold your own.

But something still doesn’t feel right.

It might feel tight, joints might feel a bit “off” under load, or movement feels harder than it should.

So you do more. More strength, more consistency, and more effort.

But strength is only useful if your body can use it well.

If your joints don’t have room to move, you don’t have different ways to manage movements and you rely on the same patterns, over and over, then more strength work just reinforces those same limitations.

Adding more load isn’t going to make the biggest difference.

But adding more options will.  More angles, more positions and more ways for your body to manage itself under load.

After that, strength starts to feel different. There’s less effort and more control, less ‘pushing through’ and more ease.

If you’re feeling a bit stuck lately, you might not need more strength.

Maybe you just need more options to move so you can use the strength you already have.
